Since my very early age I've always been fascinated by movie cameras.I've made myself in the music industry, but my heart beats
fastly each time I see one of these ..
That's why I decided to start a 16mm movie cameras collection.
I started by the mythic german brand"Arriflex" because the Arri 16S was THE one I always wanted to have one day in my hands and represents to me the apogee of the mechanical technology of the 50's.
After getting my first Arri 16ST,I've found a great pleasure in playing the collector's game and I've found a lot of genuine parts to have spares for maintening these beautiful "sewing machines".
Searching and searching,I finished with one of each model released between 1950 and 1980:
Arriflex 16ST,16M,16BL,16SR
Eclair ACL1,ACL2,NPR
Bell & Howell 70DR
Canon Scoopic
Beaulieu R16
Pathe Professional 16 reflex
I've also found an ARRI 2C 35mm,the one Stanley Kubrick used in his hands to shoot "A Clockwork Orange".
These pictures speaks by themselves.
